Asbestos Removal Annandale: One Licensed Team, Start to Finish

The removal process we follow

1. Inspection and identification, with sampling where needed.
2. SafeWork NSW notification before licensed work begins, a five-day lead time.
3. Containment for friable work, sealed enclosure, negative air pressure, HEPA filtration and wetting.
4. Air monitoring during the works.
5. The clearance certificate confirming safe reoccupation.
6. EPA-compliant transport and disposal with tipping dockets.

For friable (Class A) work, the air monitoring and clearance certificate are carried out by an independent licensed asbestos assessor we arrange and coordinate, separate from us. We never issue the clearance ourselves, that independence is a compliance requirement.

Knowing the asbestos type

Annandale’s pre-1987 terraces and fibro additions commonly contain bonded asbestos, stable while intact. But bonded material can become friable when damaged, aged, weathered, fire-affected or water-blasted, and friable material needs Class A handling. A site inspection determines the class before the work is scoped, kept factual and tied to SafeWork NSW guidance, with no heritage-listing or health claims we cannot support.
