3. Containment for friable work, sealed enclosure, negative air pressure, HEPA filtration and wetting.

6. EPA-compliant transport and disposal at a licensed facility, consistent with Randwick City Council’s asbestos requirements, with tipping dockets.

For friable (Class A) work, the air monitoring and clearance certificate are carried out by an independent licensed asbestos assessor we arrange and coordinate, separate from us. We never issue the clearance ourselves.

Bonded or friable: why it matters

Most asbestos in a Coogee home is bonded and stable while intact, but bonded material can become friable when damaged, aged, weathered, fire-affected or water-blasted, exactly the risk on ageing beachside sheeting, and friable material needs Class A handling.
